Sounds of the holiday season will fill the West Plains Civic Center when the Missouri State University Community Band from Springfield, and the Ozarks Festival Chorus of West Plains, join together to present a concert of contemporary and traditional holiday favorites. The band, under the direction of Ron Brammer, is made up of approximately 75 wind and percussion musicians from southwest Missouri and performs four to five formal concerts annually, including a Christmas concert at the Juanita K. Hammonds Hall for the Performing Arts in Springfield. The Ozarks Festival Chorus, under the direction of David Hall is made up of approximately 30 singers from area communities who share a love for choral music.
